Oh man, Jumping Flash 2! This is such a classic PlayStation game that doesn't get enough love these days. If you remember the original PlayStation era, this game was seriously innovative for its time. You play as Robbit, this robotic rabbit who can jump absolutely insane heights - we're talking miles into the air, bouncing between floating platforms and buildings with this incredible sense of scale that was mind-blowing back in the 90s. The story picks up after the first game where Baron Aloha (your old enemy) suddenly becomes your friend, asking for help defending his worlds from space creatures... but of course, nothing is that simple with a villain wearing a monacle! The game takes you through 6 different worlds with 18 main stages plus bonus levels, each with their own unique theme and challenges. The gameplay is all about exploring these massive vertical levels, rescuing the cute Muu Muus creatures, and battling the Baron's minions. What really stands out even today is the incredible sense of height and falling - when you jump up high and look down, you actually get that vertigo feeling! The levels are designed with such creativity - you've got everything from crayon-colored dreamscapes to ancient Chinese-inspired worlds, with whales swimming through the sky and all kinds of surreal touches. While it looks cute and colorful, it's actually quite challenging, especially as the levels get larger and finding all the Muu Muus becomes trickier. But that's part of the charm - it's a game that's accessible for younger players but still offers real challenge for experienced gamers. If you're collecting PS1 classics or just want to experience one of the more unique platformers from that era, Jumping Flash 2 holds up surprisingly well and is just pure, joyful fun to play.
